It brings back memories of Ireland, which I also love. They have the best Irish Coffee... the shrimp cocktail was outstanding. Wonderful, fresh shrimp. Everything was very good. I also particularly like the three lamp chops on the appetizer menu... I like to go there on a Sunday afternoon when there is music and sit in the patio. It's the best, relaxing atmosphere. The people working there are always warm and friendly. Simply a favorite spot.

On vacation in Newport Beach and chose Muldoon's Irish Pub for lunch not realizing it was Restaurant Week. We enjoyed the fish and chips which were HUGE...there was 5 large pieces of fish and a plate full of chips all which were delicious. We also had desserts which put the meal over the top. This will absolutely be a stop on our next visit to Newport Beach.

Love love love this place!

Wonderfully quaint atmosphere and food never disappoints.  Not your typical bar food. Shepherd's pie and Irish stew are two winners.  Fish and chips too.  Really, I've never been disappointed with a meal.  Ask for a booth near the crackling fireplace if it's cooler outside....heaven.

A touch of Ireland in sunny California!

Having visited Ireland and dined in charming pubs, my companion and I decided we wanted a touch of Ireland in Newport Beach, California. We chose Muldoon's and were delighted. The beef-based Irish Stew was terrific as was the freshly baked bread. A glass of Merlot was a most pleasant companion. The service was attentive and witty.
