Craic In The Stone
What more can be said about the Celtic rock/folk band ‘Craic In The Stone’ that hasn’t been said………..
As a native of Dublin, growing up just minutes from the music Mecca that is Temple Bar i’ve heard my share of bands. From International rock acts to local Traditional Irish bands, good, bad and indifferent!!!!
Now living 5000 miles from home and managing an Irish Bar in sunny Newport Beach i’ve found my little piece of Ireland.
Although from California and not The Emerald Isle, ‘Craic In The Stone’ have captured the hearts of so many people in these parts, including yours truly.
Jocelyn Browns’ vocals are haunting and addictive. She can trap you into any song she sings and you truly believe you are back in Ireland living out every verse and lyric!!!!! An amazing singer and performer that you really have to see in person to fully appreciate her seemingly endless musical talents.
The ‘supporting act’ behind her are incredible musicians, Scott Well on guitar, percussion and mandolin and James McHale on guitar and hugely entertaining vocals.
When I book this band to play I know we are guaranteed a great afternoon for our friends and customers here at Muldoon’s and all you need to do is sit back, close your eyes and we’re all back in Temple Bar…………….
